Better Broking: Giving Back Through Your Loan

I believe finance can do more than fund property - it can be an investment in positive change.

Through my Better Broking Donation Program, I donate 10% of my upfront brokerage from every settled property loan to a registered Charity or Not-For-Profit organisation.

You can choose the cause that matters most to you or, if you’d prefer, I’ll direct the donation to a local Surf Coast or Geelong charity that’s actively supporting our community or environment.

I am committed to doing business with purpose and my Donation Program helps make a difference beyond the transaction.

How It Works

  1. Apply for your property loan with Grace Cartledge Finance - Residential (Owner-Occupied or Investment) or Commercial Property Loans qualify.

  2. Choose your Charity - Nominate a registered Charity or Not-For-Profit to receive the donation.

  3. Settle your loan - Once your loan settles, I donate 10% of my upfront brokerage directly to your chosen organisation (or a local one if you’d prefer me to choose).

  4. Receive Confirmation - You’ll receive confirmation of the donation and the positive impact made by your finance transaction - it will transparent and traceable.

For example, if the upfront brokerage on your loan is $5,000, a $500 donation will be made to your chosen charity.

The Surf Coast and Geelong regions are home to many inspiring organisations; from environmental groups and community shelters to health foundations and youth programs.

By choosing to work with me for your property finance, you’re helping these wonderful organisations to continue their important work.

Eligibility & Terms -

These terms are designed to meet lender, aggregator and regulatory compliance requirements.

  • The Registered Charity or Not-For-Profit receiving the rebate must be registered with the ACNC (Australian Charities & Not-For-Profits Commission) AND be endorsed as a Deductible Gift Recipient (DGR). You can check their ACNC registration and DGR status here.

  • Donation amounts are calculated on settled loans only (net of any offset balances) and are based on the upfront brokerage received by Grace Cartledge Finance.

  • Donations do not apply to trailing commissions.

  • Donations are made within 90 days of settlement (this allows time for brokerage to be paid by the lender).

  • Grace Cartledge Finance reserves the right to verify eligibility before payment.
